Mr. Lee had a successful career as an entrepreneur and engineer before he entered the Cosmetic Manufacturing Industry in 1986. Mr. Lee, a graduate of the University of Illinois, worked extensively in the R&D field prior to starting Chemolee. Due to his eighteen-years of experience in the Cosmetic industry, he has organized and given lectures in South Korea and other Asian countries. His commitment to high standards and close collaboration with his clients has continued to develop this company into the quality manufacturer it is today. Even today Mr. Lee can often be found working on the production line, proving as he often says, ‘even the smallest of jobs, must be given close attention’.

After obtaining his PhD degree at KAIST, Dr. Lee continued his career at Washington University for 5 years. Dr. Lee’s expertise is chemical reaction engineering. Since coming to Chemolee Lab 2 years ago, Dr. Lee has incorporated his experience in R&D testing and regulatory compliance into Chemolee Lab. Dr. Lee has streamlined Chemolee procedures for greater efficiency and developed procedures to fulfill the requirements of the most strict international standards. Dr. Lee continually works with Governmental Regulatory bodies to maintain Chemolee ‘s high quality standards, and to keep abreast of the latest developments in state-of-the-art and proprietary manufacturing technology, and it’s impact on Chemolee in meeting the present and future needs of its clients.

Kwangsun Yoo, Ph.D
Chief Chemist

After only 3 years of experience at Chemolee, Dr. Yoo has attained a high level of expertise in the Cosmetic Industry and more specifically in scientifically based topical skin care formulations. Dr. Yoo received his Doctorate in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University, and his vast experience in analytical chemistry has proven vital to Chemolee’s success. He continues to evaluate the full range of natural and synthetically based raw materials to provide as many unique combinations of stable formulations for our customers.
